FAMILY LIFE:
Chief (Mrs.) Elizabeth E.U. Nkata was an adorable companion to both her nuclear and extended family members. She was a dependable daughter to her parents who trusted her ability to hold forth the family in their absence. She was married to late Mr Kalu.U. Nkata of Okagwe Ohafia. This was attested to by all that were close to them as a union to emulate and was blessed with five children. However, the blissful marriage was cut very short by the death of her husband and became a widow at young age of 29 years.
God who knows how to give good gifts to those that cherish it, brought her way another adoring man late Mr. Felix Eme Eke who remarried. Her re- marriage was another round of adorable union that was blessed with two children. Mrs Nkata had seven children, one fostered child and 26 grandchildren, four Sisters Two brothers, many nieces and nephews at the time of her death.
She was an adorable mother to her privileged children and a sweet sister (to say the least) to her brothers, sisters, uncles and aunts. She was there for everybody, had time and passion to identify with those around her in whatever circumstances of the lives that they faced.
To her, anything that will bring development to people was a priority, to this end, she invested time and money to political and individual enhancement of her community and the people to the extent that few students were placed on academic scholarship by her from her meager resources.
