The age grade system among the Ohafia people is a system that must never be disbanded for their contributions in economic, social and cultural spheres of the Ohafia society which has remained unquantifiable. The age grade institution must be encouraged among the Ohafia people (sons and daughters) also in Diaspora should be encouraged to show more interest in the institution.
The age grades would continue to perform community services until ages 60 – 65, after which they execute one last project. This last phase of the age grade is usually connected with developmental strides. Thereafter, the age grade would be ushered into retirement with pomp and pageantry as they celebrate their Otuomu ceremony.
