A number of factors and bodies play major roles in developmental strides in Amaekpu Ohafia, namely the Age Grade system; the Amaekpu Development Union, the youth body and others. The ADU and the age grade system are known to play a significant role in the development of the communities in Amaekpu Ohafia right from its origin. The age grade system among the Ohafia people is a system that must never be disbanded for their contributions in economic, social and cultural spheres of the Ohafia society which has remained unquantifiable. The age grade institution must be encouraged in the Ohafia. Ohafia sons and daughters in diaspora should be encouraged to show more interest in the institution.
